Lansing Sailing Club 2017 Laser Regatta - August 19, 2017

Located in the center of the state we are a convenient location for the majority of the State’s Laser sailors and will be hosting our usual BBQ with lots of great food!!! Sailing and good food… doesn’t get much better than that !!!

2017 Leland Laser Regatta

Sat/Sun - July 22-23

The Leland Yacht Club invites all Laser sailors to join us for a fun weekend of racing and camaraderie on beautiful Lake Leelanau in
Northwestern Michigan. The regatta features two days of racing and a Saturday night social event on the shores of Lake Michigan in
Historic Fishtown. We hope you'll join us!

Again this year----Out of town sailors may request lodging with a Leland Yacht Club family-- space available.

The folks at PYC did a great job to get a total of 9 races in over the weekend! Thanks to all of the volunteers and all who attended!



This regatta is scheduled to be in conjunction with the No Sweat Regatta on Portage Lake on September 23-24!  Thank you to the folks at PYC for stepping up!

Portage Yacht Club (PYC), on Portage Lake, is 14 miles northwest of Ann Arbor at 8900 Dexter-Pinckney Road, Pinckney, Michigan 48169. A beautiful clubhouse provides an excellent view of the clear, glacial lake and offers excellent dining amidmodern facilities. On site launching and mooring sites are available. This regatta will now be held in conjunction with the Lansing Annual Regatta on August 20th!  Every year the gang at Lansing Sailing Club put on a great event. Typically it is by far D19's largest attended event getting close to 40 boats on the line!

As a bonus for this year the International Laser Class (ILCNA) has agreed to offer a deep discount for people who join at the District 19 Champtionships. Look at the savings!

Regular - $30 for one year or $70 for 2 years (reduced from $45 and $85)


Junior - $20 (Member may not turn 18 during the term of membership) or $55 for 2 years (Member may not turn 18 during the term of the membership) (reduced from $40 and $75)

The 2015 Laser District 19 Championship

June 20 – 21, 2015

Little Traverse Sailors / Irish Boat Shop / Little Traverse Yacht Club

Harbor Springs, Michigan


The Harbor Springs Laser fleet cordially invites all District 19 Laser Sailors to join us on the beautiful waters of Little Traverse Bay for the 2015 Laser District 19 Championships on Saturday June 20 and Sunday June 21, 2015!



Schedule of Events

Friday June 19

1:00 to 5:00 pm Early registration @ Irish Boat Shop. Launch for practice at Ford Park, East side of Irish Boat Shop, Harbor Springs.

5:30 to 7:30 pm Registration continued at Petoskey Brewing Company (M-119 Just North of the Michigan State Police Post)

Saturday June 20

10:00am - 12:00pm Check in and registration @ LTYC Waterfront

12:00pm Competitors Meeting @ LTYC Waterfront

1:00pm First warning signal, races to follow

~6:00pm Barbeque at Irish Boat Shop

Sunday, June 21

10:00am First warning signal, races to follow and awards to follow ASAP after last race.

Seven races are scheduled for this event. The number of races held each day will be at the discretion of the race committee. No warning signal will be made after 14:00 on the final day of the regatta.


Competitors should register in advance by clicking here.


The regatta fee is $40 US. The entry fee includes racing, BBQ Saturday night (additional dinners are $10 for adults and $5 for kids under 12, RSVP requested but not required), awards and boat storage at IBS on West lawn.
